error in kanji

hi everyone! i heard that they split the inventor ng into 3...man, we're
getting big!!

i tried installing AIS 6 on windows NT 4 sp6 (japanese version). it keeps
churning out an error...in japanese, that is. Anybody out there can read
kanji? The screen capture is posted in customer files under "AIS6 error in
japanese"

Sorry I can't read it but I have to wonder why you have a Japanese version
if you can't read Japanese?

And it looks like it may be a Windows error, not IV ... the hint is the one
English word in the dialog. You don't have a Japanese version of Windows?

The OS is japanese version, the AIS is english version.....yeah, i also
think it's a windows error, don't know what it means though...the OS is a
carry over from a previous project for Japanese clients...

...any japanese enabled guys out there?

I asked my daughter, she knows just a bit of Japanese.
Seems to be an error message from the windows installer,
telling you something about a logfile (?) and could not
open, does not exist or not enough space. So have a look
at the eventlog protocol and check hard disk space?

My Japanese isn't that good, but I think it means something to this effect.

"An error occurred while opening the install logfile. Please confirm that
the specified location of logfile is writable."
