bend lines in export face

When I use "export face as" to create a DXF file for our lazer table I loose the bend lines in the DXF. Is there a way to retain the lines in order to have the lazer scribe the bend lines for us?

Thank you

Rigth-click over the Flat Pattern browser icon and choose Save Copy As (SAT; DXF or DWG)

Maria,

When I exportede the file this way it not only gave me the bend lines but also included the lines on both sides of the bend and placed points at all intersections which would cause problems in the torch pattern. I did save it as a 2004 dxf. does it make a difference which year of dxf I use? I am usnig Inventor 2012.

Thank you

Jim

That lines on both sides of the bend are the Tangent Lines.

During Save Copy As you can set some parameters. Try put Off the visibility of some layers.

In the latter case you can always adjust the DXF file in Autocad.

Maybe a bit late, but this is what autodesk says:

Hope it helps!

Is there any way that instead of leaving the line, put a letter or words?
