Wood (Materal), Wood texture (Color)?

IV 5.3 is designed as a mechanical software, but I am interested to
have components made out of wood.
Any suggestion where wood (material), and wood texture (color)
are available for IV 5.3?

Thanks

Format>Colors>Texture>Choose>Wood 1-7

If you want something other than these you will have to take a picture and
add it in of find a image file somewhere of the material. Good luck.

Colors are in Inventor under Format > Color > Texture tab. There are
some wood patterns there, more may be added by scanning and converting
to a bitmap. Save out a new color based upon your selection. This must
be done in a template files (ipt, iam) to preserve the new color.

For material properties, Go to Tools > Materials and create a new
material. Again, set up the material formats that you use most often in
the template files that you use to create new parts and assemblies.
