Why changing the name and part number of content center parts?

Hi,

I use tube from content center. I use my own company numbers and names... But when I change the size then both part number and name is changing automaticly too. I always renaming them again after changing the size of the tube. This is wasting my time.

 

Can I cancel this update?...

Did you copy the tube family to a custom library and modify the familty table to use your information?  It sounds like you're just using the default CC library, which is read only.  If that's true you will always get whatever part number and name are in the family table.

I do not know but we do not use custom CC library. I will try to setup custom CC library and test this...
