What happened to my Inventor 2014

Inventor 2014, update form 2013 version looks bad when compared.

Performence wise, walah !!!!!! Fantastic !!!! Faster than previous versions, new more features, beautiful..

But......

What happend to panel buttons, why are they hiding.. for example:

In Assemble tab, component panel, why replace and replace all shrinkwrap are hiding???????? I dont understand whjy they do these kind of changes??? only one third of ribbon space is used and every other freequently used functions are hidden under a dropdown.... not only that why they have taken BOM from Aesemble tab..  I know it is in Manage tab...

If we place a custom pabel as quick access tool, we loose those Custom Quick access tools after a restart.

Wish we will get some good fixes..

For personal feeling, Inventor 2014 has more usefull tool, simplify,  to enhance big assemble performance which is using shrink, so the shrinkwrap, replace and etc. are hiddened. Could you try simplify instead of shrinkwrap or replace?

By the way, you could custom the panel as what you are familiar with.

I could not reproduce the issue about adding quick access toolbar. I have installed Update 2 , although it has not talked in the Update readme. Could you install it to check it?

Greetings mate.

Unfortunately, Yes I did, I installed Update 1 and 2 as well but no luck mate.

It is fine untill we know what is behind that big @ image, but if we have 15--20 small shorcuts on the panel it looks confusing and annoying, you know what I mean right.

can you please report it to somebody concern to that department of Autodesk.

When clients comparing our Autodesk Products to other stuff, it shuld look good, is it??

you spoke about simplify function in your reply,

Is Inventor API updated with simplify command as well?? Because we have some custom functions written in VB to automate Shrinkwrap function and use that same logic in different areas of designing.

I could forward this requirment to some department, all changes are unable to happen in this version.

For the quick access toolbar, have you check them after open one inventor file? If none inventor files opened, none added quick access toolbars show.

Hey Yong,

when a file like .iam or .ipt opened functions buttons are not showing up. I didnt check with no file opened.

I will do it. And just as info, not all of them are fading.
