Welding an Assembly of Weldment subassemblies.

Is there any way to weld together an assembly of weldment subassembly files?

I have an assembly that includes subassemblies (which I have converted to weldments) and sheet metal parts. Now I want to convert my main assembly to a weldment to weld the subweldments together. Is this possible?? I can't seem to get it to work.

Show a screenshot of your "Assemble" tab

As Ryan Suggested, go to the Assemble Tab. It should not be greyed out
there.

What's in the 3rd party folder? Save a backup and try deleting it.

Try deleting the sketch?

Also, maybe it has something to do with Positional Representations? I haven't tried yet to see if having posreps makes a difference.
