Unfolding a part made form a derived assembly

I am trying to unfold a part created from a derived assembly like I usually do… why in the world will it not unfold, and show a preview of the unfolded in the other direction??

At first all was working… until I added a part (see the circled item in picture), and I don’t have any problem usually!

Thanks,

Sophie

The file is to big.

Is there a place where I can send it to you?

Thanks,

Sophie

Hi!

If you want to send the ipt File, you can pull the EOF at the begining of operations, and the part will be a lot smaller in file size.

Check to make sure that you have set the proper thickness in the Sheet-Metal settings. This must match the thickness of the derived part.

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file

It's hard to tell what you're doing from the picture, but I'm guessing that you're trying to combine multiple flat pieces into one press braked part. Did you add bend and corner features where appropriate? Also, check blair's suggestion

Thanks for all your helps.

Can't send only my part cause it is made from a dirived assembly.

Yes i am  trying to combine multiple flat pieces into one press braked part.

Found out a temporary solution... (see picture) had to cut out into the dirived assembly so the un fold would work,

But don't know why.

Still, thanks all your helps!

Sophie
