Unable to update

Part created in assembly does not update to part file.

Can you get out of that level of Detail and see if it'll update then?

You are not being rude.  I have been involved with other forums and nubees get blasted for asking dumb questions. I don't know enough to ask the right questions yet.

I opened a new assembly, inserted a prt file created by someone else, Added another prt file created by the same person, then created a new prt within the assembly file.

Do I have a problem with the file heirarchy?

Vault? Also is the person who's part they are working on them, or have them open?

I'll be going home in a while.

I'm going to spend the weekend reading about files and search paths. I think that may be where my problem is.

I'll let you know if and when I solve it.
