If you file/s won't attached try one of these
1) Check that Internet explore IS NOT in compatibility view and resend
OR
2) use GOOGLE CHROME to attached files ( this is usually the best option.
3) The file is to big zip it and try again.
From personal experience IE11 has some, well quite a few, compatibility problems with this and other sites as bid IE10 but most of those were fixed.
3 solutions
1. multi-body solids
2. derived components
3. edit in context of assembly and Copy Object surface for trimming.
Any one of the 3 techniques will work.
