Thread Visualization - Screw and Hole Show Opposite Directions?

Hey everyone:

So I put a tapped hole in a part and I placed a bolt in that hole.  When doing a section view in the assembly environment, I noticed that the representation of the two threads are going the opposite directions.

The threads are specified as RH thread direction and the bolt was placed from the conent center.

Anyone else notice this?

You're seeing the threads on the side of the bolt closest to you since it's not sectioned, and the threads in the hole on the opposite side since it is sectioned.  Everything is as it should be.

If you check this in the application options you might get better results.

Yep, that is the way I was taught to do in on the drawing board in the last century.

Do this - model real threads on a nut an bolt.  Cut the nut in half.
What do you see?
