Theoretical Edges?

i'm in idw, and i have some hefty fillets on this simple trapezoidal part. i wanted to show the 4 coners without fillets. how do i do this? -Joe

Sketch in extension lines?  Do you want to
show them or just dimension to them?  If the latter then you don't have to
make a sketch use the "intersection" context selection when placing your
dimension.

i was trying to sketch in the lines, but even before i tried to sketch, i highlighted my view, then hit sketch, but the sketch lines weren't 'sticking' to the endpoints. but i'll try your other method - didn't know about that. thanks Sean. -Joe

IN R6 you have to project the lines to the sketch if I remember right.
