TEXT JUSTIFICATION LEFT

I am trying to create leaders with my text justified left but it does not seem to work. The text always seems to be justified to the end of the leader line rather than being left as I want it event though I have selected the button so control the text layout.

Please seem attached image for further clarification.

Is there something I am overlooking to make my text justified left?

Hi Nicko,

Please right click the text and select Edit Dimension Style, check off Justify Text to Leader. Left Justification in Format Text will work then.

Is there a way to set the default to left justify? It's currently set to centered.

edit: I see where that can be changed in the text editor settings.

But for the record, text should by default be left justified and centered as a choice. Why anyone would use right is beyond me.
