Symbols in IDW "Table" feature fields

There are some character strings you could use to create symbols (%%c gives you a diameter symbol, %%d gives you the degree symbol). How about the DEPTH symbol? Is there a string to create this and other symbols in the Table fields?

It would be useful to have an Insert Symbols button similar to the Text Editor. But
the other view is that symbols shouldn't be used in text - a table is text - and
that abbreviations should be used.

Or if you use AIGDT.ttf and decypher using "Jackdaws Love My Big Sphinx of Quartz"

There is a #ID 935210 logged as a wish for the ability to insert symbols in the table fields.
