Stress analysis and dynamc simulation

Hello,

I'm in the process of desiging a lazy tong linkage and I'm  unconvinced that my stress analysis results are correct because I am having a few problems:

1) While trying to export leg members to FEA I receive the following message:

"Joint efforts applied to this part are not unique because the model is over constrained. Be careful with their interpretation."

2) I am also experiencing the center connecting member constraints showing up redunant.

Could either of these two problems have unwanted results on my stress analysis?

I have attached a simplictis version of the lazy tong linkage.

Thanks Dave

Dave,

"Joint efforts applied to this part are not unique because the model is over constrained. Be careful with their interpretation."

Take a look at this link and see if it will answer your questions about being over constrained and redundant joints.
