Start drawing numbering at something other than #1

OK, i may be an idiot and there is a real easy solution, but i just don't have time to dig though 6000 posts to find the answer i need. Anyway, I have an .idw series of drawings that i want to start at sheet #13. How? It is a clients title block and the format is "sheet 1 of 8, sheet 2 of 8, etc." so I need sheet 13 of 26, etc... What am i missing! I Can tell it is a Monday!! HELP!?!?!?! Thanks in advance!!

Hi satch428,

If you need to have the 1st sheet start a 13 and then automatically number the sheets after that, then you'll want to create 12 empty sheets and set them not to be printed (right-click on the sheet node and choose Edit Sheet > Exclude From Printing).

If you are creating a drawing file for sheet 13, and another drawing file for sheet 14, etc. Then you'll want to edit the title block definition and set the sheet number to be a prompted entry that you can enter manually.

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis
