Solid black in 11x17 prints

On one computer, if we preview or print an .IDW on letter size paper, it's fine. If we preview or print on 11x17, the shaded areas of the drawing appear in solid black. This happens with two different printers: HP LaserJet 9000 with postscript driver or HP LaserJet 5000 with PCL6 driver. Weird thing is, another user can plot to the same printers with no problems. Both are running Inventor 11. The problem PC has a Quadro4 380XGL, driver version 8.1.9.8. Both run Windows XP SP2

Change

Tools>> Document Settings>>Drawing>>"Use Bitmap for Shaded Views" to
"Offline Only"

There have been a couple of threads about this in the last day or two. They
are working to try to find a fix for it.

I think if you change from Direct X to Open GL that also fixes that
particular problem

This item is now fixed in our code here. See my discussion at:

for the details.

Thanks for your patience while we tracked down the source of this problem.
