Slow Simulation – Multiple 3D Contact Joints

I’ve read that 2D Contacts are suggested when possible for dynamic simulation but I can’t use 2D Contacts for this experiment. I have 160 wheels that are set as 3D Contacts. I may try just letting my computer attempt to run the simulation all night but my guess is that I don’t have enough computer for the job.

Have any of you run into this? Do you just let it attempt to run for 8 hours or so? What type of computer specifications is needed for a 3D Contact simulation model like this or is the software going to limit the processing speed?
