Sketchin in IDW view

It seems that I am unable to create a sketch in the drawing view. In 5 you
would select the view then select the sketch icon. This allows you to
contrain geometry to the existing view. Does not appear to be working.

Has anyone run across this?

Just to clarify,
It appears that any geometry added is getting associated with the view
because if I move the view afterwards, the geometry moves with it, however I
am unable to refer to any geometry for constraints during the view
creation.

I've found that it's more consistent if you pick the view in the browser
then hit sketch.

Use the project geometry tool

That's it Sean, thanks they changed if from R5 as this was not previously
necessary.

Yes, that is how I approach it as well.

All,

Just so everyone knows (I've seen this discussion before), if you go to
Application Options and the Sketch tab, and turn on "Autoproject edges
during curve creation", it will work as it did in previous releases. That
is, sketch on a view and you can constrain to the model geometry.

Just an FYI.
