am currently reproducing a few recent Autocad 2d jobs in inventor. I find
myself very often inserting Autocad files previously wblocked from the
original 2d drawing when in sketch mode. Is there a way to get this geometry
into IV cleanly without having to run Sketch Doctor to combine sketch points
every time? (most of the time the geometry inserted is a clean closed Pline in
Autocad) If not, is there a way to batch combine the sketch points rather than
having to click through every prompt to verify as Sketch Doctor works its way
around the geometry? And one last question! Many times when combining sketch
points segments of the geometry will actually change subtly and unless I
dimension or constrain everything to fix it I can get into trouble. This only
seems to happen with non-rectangular shapes with small (.010 or less) corner
rad. Thanks Tom
