Service Pack 1

After the discussions floating around Friday afternoon, I expected SP1 to be
released late that evening (Friday), but it didn't. Has anyone heard
anything else?

See Gary R. Smith's response in another thread, it is not ready yet, but it's getting close.

I thought Albert received the customized R7 DSE version (Door Stop Edition).

It's all synergy and my alpha waves are in sync with R7 but R6 went against
everything in my being

Seriously though, it really does seem to make a huge difference how a
particular computer system/systems get along with particular version of
Inventor and things just didn't "click" for R6.

Your probably right Albert.
I have been very lucky with crashes or the lack off them, I only normally
confirm something that's already crashing most computers.
My crashes normally follow frantic clicking when some feature doesn't turn
out the way I want and I repeat that procedure twenty or more times getting
quicker every repeat!

In the case of my laptop the registry settings for R7 were drastically different than R6. It caused problems until I set things up like R6.
