SHeet Metal Flat Pattern

Hey guys!

I know this was already discussed before, but I am still having issues with creating flat pattern.

I simply don't have this option. All of a sudden everything was working and then all of a sudden I can't make flat patterns anymore. I haven't been changing any options in styles library.

Though when I transfer part into Standard Part and then back to sheet metal it tells me that model has to be uniform thickness equal to model parameter  and that I should set the proper thickness in the Sheet metal Styles match my model. I don't really get it. Why before I didn't have to do anything and now it asks me to to do it ... And I don't really get what I should do ... Can someone help me by explaining what exactly has to be done? Because I tried everything, but it doesn't help ...

Would probably be best to post an example part.

Post a snip of your sheet metal style.

Your sheetmetal rule is for a thickness of 0.5 while your model is 0.7 mm thick, that is why you are getting the non-uniform thickness warning.

I had no problem creating a flat-pattern in IV2014, with either thickness, so i can't say why you're having problems.

This is a 2012 part like your signature tag says?

Sorry, it is 2013 file. I upgraded long time ago, forgot to change signature.

Niels, this is not the problem. I mean I tried to change values so thicknesses are the same. It has no effect. I tried to leave mark so that thickness stays as default from Sheet Metal Style... and that still doesn't help.

I created a simple sqare with one side bended and tried to make flat pattern... and i can't, there is no option as create flat pattern... and thicknesses are the same as in SHeet Metal Styles.

Though before I could use another thicknesses, just unmark to use as default thickness from a rule ... but now sheet metal doesn't work at all and that happened just without any reason ...

iProperties indicate r2014 SP0, NOT 2013?

I recommend that you first try installing Service Pack 1 and Update 1 for Service Pack 1.

Test and post back the results of the test.
