Hello,
how can i use/activate routed systems in inventor pro 2014 or is this option disabled on the student version?
Best regards

Student version is fully functional?
Have you gone through the Routed Systems tutorials?
Has your instructor demonstrated Routed Systems?
You must be in an assembly.
Then go to Environments tab.
You should see the Routed Systems tools.
Screen cap from student license Inventor Pro
Not sure if it's there in Student version or not... check this:
Go to Tools\Add Ins. Do you see it in there? If yes, click the boxes for Loaded and Load Automatically.
This is from 2013 but should be the same in 2014.

@JDMather
I was in an assembly of the routed sytems tutorial and it shows the icon only in grey.
I think that the student version is fully functional.
The image I posted is of the Student version, so it looks like you did not get Inventor installed correctly as even Inventor Studio is grayed out in the image you posted.
Did you install with anti-virus and UAC turned off?
(if you are not sure - search Google on how to turn off UAC).
I would try a Repair Install first (with UAC turned off) and install Update 1, reboot the computer and see if it now works.

If that doesn't work - post back for Clean Uninstall instructions (you can only activate your license twice, so this will be a last resort effort if needed
