Rotate Sketch Text

I know that I've done this before but for the life of me, I can't get it
to work now. I'm trying to emboss some text on a part and need to
rotate the text. The embossing works fine, just not the rotating. No
matter where or how I RMB, I can't seem to find the option to "Rotate
---" anywhere. What simple thing am I missing?

Thanks,
Doug

Think you'll probably need to use an angle dim between the text box and a
construction line if I remember correctly.

Thanks Larry, that sure isn't what 'Help' said (or what I thought I had to
do last time).  It wasn't pretty, but I managed to walk the test around through
two quadrants, a chunk at a time.

Just went to see what I had done before. I made
the text;

RMB mark adaptive;

made const line Horiz and angle;

made text box line collinear to
angle.

Will rotate around 360° according to
the angle.

Don't remember looking at help on that subject,
maybe I should. <G>

Why not just using the rotate tool?

And what is the need of making it
adaptiv?

Or do I understand something wrong?

Nothing wrong with using the rotate tool, I don't
guess, but a construction line simulates the rotate and
move tools in one shot by using angle and linear dims. I don't know why
adaptive, exactly; I couldn't get the collinear/coincident constraints to work
(over constrained errors) until I made it temporarily adaptive. After placing
the dims, I turned it back off and it still worked okay. Don't use it much, so
I'm not really all that up on it.

Oops, no sp1 on this machine ...

Since sp1, no more rotating text

with the rotate tool, only with
dims

and constraints ...

Why?
