Restricting movement in an assembly

I have an assy that I would like to set motion to. I have a CAM that I need
to have follow a roller bearing - the onky problem is that there is a finger
at the end of the cam that stops the motion. When I tried this before, the
roller would get to that point and then flip off that surface and either
reposition itself on the other side of the cam or actually inside the cam,
but on that surface.

Thanks,
Gary Marzetti

You need to cheat. make another surface for the cam roller to follow with a transitional constaint make like a curved slot so it has an end where the finger goes then make this dummy part invisible but it still controls the motion.
we haven't yet been given constraints where we can limit the range of motion so we have to be imaginative.
