Having created a simple beam and now applying a remote force i find that there does seem to be no logical way of positioning the remote force location.
In the input there is facility to enter the desired load, and a method to enter the remote point in the x,y and z axis, but how is the remote point 0,0,0
determined relative to say the end of the beam,i have tried to add a new ucs work feature to the end of the beam hoping that the remote point will snap to this but this does not seem to work.
In autocad if one repositions the ucs then draws a line to 0,0,0 then the end of the line starts there. In order to position anything accurately some form of original datum is required.
Any suggestions.

Doesn't it use the origin as reference location (no matter where you pick)?

At the moment the force origin does not seem to be in any logical position.
Are you working with a part or an assembly?
Static or Motion Loads imported from Dynamic Simulation.
The part Origin is the part Origin (folder in browser) - I don't understand what could be any more logical than that.
