Referenced path

When I open an assembly file, and one of the parts in not in the referenced path. Is there a way to add it at this point? Or do I have to close the file frist?

Never tried it but here's an off the wall suggestion.

While IV is stalled, go to Windows Explorer, copy the file to the
desired directory then then return to IV and type in the file name (I
doubt the revised file will be displayed in the list).

It might work, but then it might bring your system down. Only one way
to find out.
