I use Camtasia Studio, but try this (free solution) and report back

http://labs.autodesk.com/utilities/chronicle

I haven't had time to check this out, but would be interested in how it works.

If you like this - be sure to give feedback to Autodesk as well.  If labs projects don't get a lot of feedback it might be assumed there is little interest in continued development.

Tried it.  Nice program but I don't want it saved to the cloud.  I have confidential information that can't be release to the public.  There is no other options to save the file on your computer then send to Autodesk support.  Are there any other programs you might know about?

What! You don't trust Autodesk?  Isn't there some method of limiting who as access?

Yes, your are right there is a way to limit access.  I had to research this out because I logged into my Autodesk 360 account and the file was not there even though I logged in with this account.  It uploads to a different cloud.  https://chronicle.autodesk.com/mychronicles.  Nice!!!

I refuse to use "cloud forced" software...
