Promlems using insert-constraint

Hi!

I have problems using insert constraint. See attached picture. If i use
insert as the leftmost picture shows, i get an error: "Constraint is
inconsistent with another and must be edited, deleted or suppresed." But if
i use mate constraint twice, as these two other pictures shows no errors
will occur! Can anyone tell me why? The value (82 mm or -18 mm) don't
change the situtation. Both parts has straight cut, so both ends are
perpendicularly to cylinder surface. Does insert use different tolerances
than mate? This assembly were originally done with INV6, but i copied it
with DA to new one. Now i encountered this problem. There have been many
similar cases before also, so what is up? -- Alpo

Typically when I get this error it goes back to a constaint created by
IV during part creation or insertion (as froma library). What I do is
to delete any existing constraints, and add just the ones you require.
Off the top of my head, I can't remember this ever not getting rid of
this error.

Good luck.
