Hi there,
I'm new with the Inventor, and as I'm learnig with the video classes I found that my "Inventor Studio" option doesn't have the "Surface Style" bar.
So as when i do the "Render", the "Render Type" doens't show the realistic type, only the "shaded" and "ilustration".
Can someone help??
I'm using the Inventor Professional 2013.
Tks

I don't recall ever seeing a "Surface Style" bar in Inventor. Could this be an English translation problem. (there is a Visual Style with Realistic)
I have never seen the option Realistic in Inventor Studio, only the same as your screen capture.
I am curious about what you saw in that video you mention. Where they in the modeling enviroment or in the Inventor Studio Environment?
We are experiencing the same thing here. While watching a training video from 3DMadeEasy you can clearly see on the attachment there is a fifth option "Surface Styles" under the Scene tab in Inventor Studio but it doesn't appear on our installation. Anybody who knows how to make this option available, help would be much appreciated. Thanks
There were no problems with the translation, I use the program with the english version.
Here´s a link from a video with the "Surface style" and the "realistic" type to render.

Check it out.
I thought it was a instalation problem that i did...
Ah, that is what I neede - a screen capture to show exactly then information needed.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
Back in a bit with solution.
The video appears to have been made in an earlier version of Inventor.
The Materials/Colors functionality changed at some version.
I don't recall what release or how this effects what you need to do.
Perhaps someone from Autodesk will comment.
It looks like that was posted Aug 2009 which would make it Inventor 2010 release.
