Problem with Inventor 5 on a Laptop

Interesting issue with Inventor 5 with latest SP.

I'm using a Toshiba Laptop with 512 SDRAM, GeForce 4, P4 1.7.
But sometimes, inventor would crash when it's thinking really hard. When
I'm doing small, simple stuff, it works fine. But when it gets more
complicated, it would sometimes close the program by itself. So I have to
restart the program again. Something wrong?

Delete and re-install the whole thing?

Try to resize your "swapfile" 1,3Gb(2.5*Ram) on both values, and clean out
your temp directory

Try setting color depth to 16 bit. It helped on mine...

Turn Inventor Hardware settings on "Override recommended settings - User MS
GDI Generic OpenGL driver"

Also, try decreasing your resolution. Also newest video card drivers and
more memory if possible!
