As an Inventor user, what's that one button you'd love to use to make life soooo much easier when using Inventor?
Here's one to get things started;
So what's that one button that you've been wanting for ever? Post it here!
"Save"
the more I save, the more stable IV is.
When working with large assemblies, the "Re-Order" ipt's within the browser window to be sorted in Part-Number sequence.
Waiting for the "Control ^C" button to halt a command.
I'd love a button that automatically performs an UNDO, back the point where I first screwed up! Have to be a pretty intuitive button, I'll grant that.

It was merely a misguided attempt at Friday humor.

I agree with blair, a button to sort items in the browser pane in part number sequence would be awesome. I use a macro to do this currently, but it is limited by the fact that you can't move component patterns within the browser. It would also be nice to be able to sort items in my .ipt broswer pane as well.
Try this peice of iLogic code.......works a treat in ordering parts in an assembly to be numerical and alphabetical....
This is good. I believe it's using the same "AlphaSortComponents" that I'm using, but this is a little cleaner than mine. Unfortunately, it still fails for me when component patterns are present in the browser pane.
I guess I should have been clearer, I do use the "Sort" button within the Productivity Panel alot. I like to keep my items within a IAM file sorted in the browser alpha-numerically. It's much easier to find items.
Still waiting for the "Easy" button!
Seconded - would really like a button to Suspend error reporting
So annoying when I am fixing errors to have to constantly dismiss the error messages. I know I have errors that's why I am fixing them !!!! Or maybe change the Accept button in that message to 'Yes you told me already'
fourth for rusty error reporting button...
maybe if we tick "don,t tell me again unless i ask you to", the red cross turns to grey cross. That way we can track our progress if we are working on a large assembly.
You mean this error:
They actually have that button. It's located in the application options under the prompts tab.

Doesn't hide dimension broken dimensions problems, or at least not on a consistent basis. That's just about the only error message that you can't suppress.
