Patterned thru holes leaving random bits of material behind.

I'm on Inventor 2014 and when I create my circular pattern only one of the patterned holes is generated properly. There is a screenshot attached showing the problem holes. How do I fix this?

What happens if you drag the patterned holes to be the last feature in the browser?  Does it still do it?  I just don't know what those extrutions past the pattern are.

Those extrusions are unrelated cuts, it doesn't matter how I order the features it continues to be a problem.

Is it safe to assume that these holes are through all going in both directions?

Yes, I'll attach it. The only thing is that this is an inherited part so I might not be able to explain all of the decisions.

Change your creation method in the circular pattern to adjust and it works fine.

Thank you, do you have a reason for why this would happen or was it a matter of toying around with it?

I believe that when you use the identical method it keeps the same X-Y orientation of the feature that you're patterning.  If you us the adjust method the feature rotates with the pattern.

You'll need to double check your patterns, but this seemed to do it.
