Path & Guide Rail Sweep

I am having trouble modeling with Path & Guide Rail Sweep.  Please tell me what I am doing wrong.  This error comes up when I click OK:

• Create sweep feature failed
• Errors occurred during update
• Could not build this Sweep
• The attempted operation did not produce a meaningful result. Try with different inputs.

Hard to describe the shape in words; the picture should make sense though.

Profile is shaded on the right

The Path and Guide Rail are offset on prallel planes but otherwise identical.

Path is on top; Guide Rail is on bottom.

Both Path and Guide Rail pierce the profile.

An ipt file would be easier to diagnose than a picture.

Found a solution. The sweep works when the profile is placed at the end of the path (file attached).
