Part list names vs iam names

Quick question, why does the iam browser display iparts, i.e. bolts etc, by the name within the ipart, but display in the parts list in an idw under the name the part was saved as, why are they not the same, and how can I set the parts list to exactly match the iam browser name, or can I?
Also I just opened up a suposedly good idw and 6-8 random lines showed up and printed out, I turned of the vis, and solved the problem but what are they?

Thanks in advance

The name in the browser is what is defined in the
filename column.  The parts list can list any of the part's
properties.  It's probably displaying the description or title right
now.  If you want to display something else edit the parts list.  If
you want to change the actual text of the ipart you'll need to edit the ipart
itself..
