Odd behavior in Inventor 2012 for Print Preview with Xerox Printer

Hello,

I have had a couple of our engineers recently approach me about an issue that they have been having with Autodesk Inventor 2012.  They are running workstations on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.  Up until about a week ago, we were running HP Laserjet 5200 printers using the HP Universal Print Driver, but we have replaced them with some model of Xerox Phaser printers running the Xerox Unified Print Driver.  After we installed the new printers, they showed some weird behavior upon preview.  Apparently, they can run a print preview once in Inventor, then attempting to run the print preview again (having changed some settings, for instance, because it was not correct) disables the print preview functionality for the rest of their session.  After they restart their computers, they are able again to print preview one time before it disables that functionality.

Has anyone else experienced this behavior?  Or are there any ideas what to do from this point?

Check the Xerox website for possible a newer version of the Printer Driver. With 64 bit O/S, a lot of times the driver shipped with the device is very old and not the best in the 64 bit enviroment.
