Not able to "drag" parts in assy.

I have a sub assy. that I am rebuilding. I have some existing models and some new one's. When I apply one constraint to a model I am no longer able to "drag" that part in the remaining directions it can move. Anyone ever come across this?

thanks

Can you reduce to two parts, reproduce behavior and post the assembly here?

Yes I get this all the time.  Parts wont drag with just a click on it but will move if you use the move command.

Its not always a constraint problem, often its associativity thats the problem.  If you place the attached files somewhere and open the assembly you can see.  You cant free drag part2.  But if you use the move command it will move and when you rebuild, the associative hole will update correctly.

It should be caused by adaptive Hole created in Part2.  In your attached case, if you mate/flush face along X and Y axis between two parts, you can "drag" move it along Z axis, because the adaptive Hole in Part2 can always be generated.
