No Termination Face Defined

Anyone experience the following?

1.) Threaded holes do not remember existing termination faces.

2.) Editing holes created by concentric placement causes crash.

I have created the hole from scratch based on your comments, but no issue is seen. So could you attach the model and images for this?

Thanks,
River

I have tested your described workflow, and found some issues but no crash.

You may notice two things.

1. The selected termination face should make sence.

2. The extended check box should be checked if the termination face is not intersected with hole.

Of course, if there is still crash, please attach your model here.

I have discovered the problem. It is my using the classic UI via reg hack. When using the ribbon there is no problem. This is unfortunate for me as the ribbon UI exhibits great lag compared to the classic UI. The ribbon also suffers from increased mouse travel & user fatigue.

Hello,

Both of two issues are reproducible in classic UI but not Ribbon, which have been tracked in our system as 1414795 and 1414796.

Hello River,

Thanks for logging these issues. May I ask, is the performance of the ribbon heavily dependant on the graphics card?

Hello,

Inventor Ribbon UI doesn't have special requirments for graphic cards but graphic card may have impact on the performance of Ribbon UI. This is because Ribbon UI is built based on Microsoft .Net and the .Net may use graphic card to render UI.

During my experience with Ribbon UI, I think the graphic card has limited impact on Ribbon UI performance.

Thanks,

-Michael
