I can't get into online (or local) help

This is the message I get when I click on Inventor "?" Other Autodesk products have no problem, only Inventor (both 2015 & 2014)

PDSU 2015

Windows 7 Home Premium

16 GB RAM

Thanks

Julian

Hi JGR44,

I don't have any other suggestions, but I did find this related, but unresolved post:

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis

Is this a fresh install? If so, did you follow the AutoDesk Software Installation Guide? If not, then what changed since the help was last working? Any  network infrastructure changes, new software, etc.?

Thanks Curtis and Mike.

I think the problem is in my system. This error came up after I've downloaded and installed 2015 AutoCAD (vanilla), Alias Design, and Showcase, modules that were not included in the original 2015 PDSU package, previously installed. (I've followed the installation instructions)

The strange thing is that only Inventor has this Help problem not AutoCad plain or Mechanical etc.

Autodesk might have some explanation.

Anyway I'll get my IT gurus to have a look at it.

Thanks again

Julian

My set-up also has Alias and Showcase designed on top of PDSU with offline help installed, and I have no issues. I doubt it was caused by the ACAD install.. but, just out curiosity, what order did you install everything in?

I've installed them in order as they were listed in the Adesk Download page:

1-AutoCAD, 2-Alias, 3-Showcase

Sorry, I meant with the help. Did you install the other products first, then the help or the help first and then the products?

Hi Mike,

Products first, Help later.
