Network license & Options bug

Hello all,

We had experiencing an irritating bug with Inventor 2012 and it has not been corrected in the 2013 version... and maybe some of us have this trouble without catching it... this trouble is a little bit viciousSmiley Sad I will explain me.

We use network (floating) licensing registration and sometimes there is too much resquest than license and the server refuse the access to Inventor... Until there all goes well. But when you get the license after that, the application options have changed in Inventor !! Smiley Frustrated

It could be the sketch option, the drawing...  But it could be the CC configuration... And if you use Vault server (As us), your configuration could go back to local CC instead of Vault !!!  And if you're not aware with that... what a pain to replace the hundreds of screws, whashers... from the local CC to the Vault CC...Smiley Sad

Autodesk people, please fixed it ...

Thanks,

John.

This issue has been reported to us and we have change request logged with development about Application settings being reset after being denied a license. They are working currently to fix the problem.
A workaround for the moment is to save the customization to a xml file and import it in Inventor when the problem reoccurs.
