Need assistance completing partial part

I was given the following part, and I need help completing it. I am totally out of my league with this one:

partial part.JPG

The radius' of the bend are all different. The part has a twist.

I'm pulling my hair out here (what's left of it).

I'm using Inventor Standard 2014.

I would appreciate any effort.

Assuming you are looking to do nothing more then fill the void around the bend?

I didn't take the time to make perfect.

Well, now I can't add attachments?

Ok, got it with a different browser.

Thank you Professor Mather.

Can I assume, since it was a step file, that you used another program to complete the bends?

and, Btw, what browser did or didn't work?

I appreciate this forum and all of those who assist newbies like me.

I know this part isn't perfect, but this is how far I got until I saw that JD beat me to the punch.  Smiley Happy

I think you can see I had a couple of profiles and guide curves that I was bringing together.

Anyway, maybe it will help you ultimately.

Thank you as well, Scott. I couldn't get the sweeps to line up either. I had someone try using Solidworks with the Logopress add in and he could get it either. Eph. 2:7

No problem.  Is this part imported from Solidworks?  I ask, because I have SW 2011 that I could try it in.

I used only Autodesk Inventor, but thought my quick and dirty "solution" was a little rough - so didn't want to post my dirty laundry here.

Frankly - if it were my part I would use this file to remodel the part correctly from scratch.

It has a long history. Began life as an NX unigraphics file. Imported into Inventor for modification to width and length. Then given to Solidworks Logopress.2014 to bend from 90° to 87°. That only partially worked.
The part Professor Mather did will work for this prototype part.
Thanks again.

Here's my approach. It took some time, finding the best way.

Hi, there,

I tried by loft and looks simple, but may not what you want. You need sheet metal, right!
