Multiple Mates at once

Hi,

Asking  a lot of related questions today!

I have 10 components, each has a surface i wish to mate to a plane.

Have created my plane, is there a way i can select all faces of relevant components, then the plane, and then apply the mate?

Inventor, it would seem, only allows you to constrain items one-at-a-time which is not that efficeint, (have 20 odd parts to mate to this plane).

Any help appreciated.

Thanks  Joe Banger

You might look at Naming and matching iMates: http://wikihelp.autodesk.com/Inventor/enu/2014/Help/1283-Inventor1283/2454-Assembli2454/2455-Build_a...
