long do we have to wait for Autodesk to fix the model dimension extension
lines. We still can't drag the end points of model dimension extension lines.
We have the ability with individually created dimensions, but not model
dimensions... makes sense! Why???
Some days, its just the little things
that set me off!!!

If you are talking about the anchors for the
dimensions, why would you change model dimension anchors?
If it were possible to do that, moving the anchor
from a model location to some other vertex in the view would break the
dimensions connection/association to the model vertex that it was originally
attached to. If ever Inventor includes this
ability I would guess that the dimension would be demoted to a drawing
dimension and no longer be considered a model dimension.

And I'm still having trouble almost 2 decades later...sometimes you can move anchor points, sometimes not.
