Mirror

Hi to All,

How can I Mirror an object??
When I miror it, I allways get the object that was before I made the final cuts on it.
It mirrors the original solid and not the finished one.

Thanks

Joe

Not sure I understand what an "object" is.... You can select multiple
features to mirror on a part or if you want to mirror a part, go with a
derived part. If you can't get it working, perhaps you could post an example
of what you are trying to do.

Can I mirror a part or subassembly in a main assembly
I sure would like to do that.
Example; say I have an angle knee bace at 45 deg
in a steel struture, I would like the brace mirrored at the other end.
I would avoid having to insert all the parts and re-constraint.

I'am sorry if this post appears 3 times including this one
but it shows up in my sent folder but not on NG

Gaets

It has the same Subject as a older post, so it is showing up as a reply to
that. Currently I only see two posts from you.

AFAIK your options are to do a derive and choose the mirror option, then
insert that file and constrain it or there has been a link to a program that
supposedly mirrors part, but I don't know of anyone that has tried it. I
think it is still using the derived feature, but it automates some of the
steps??
