Measure

Am I the ONLY person that wants to measure from a drawing or something?

No, I reach for that tool in drawing manager all the time, but then
realize- it doesn't work there!
Even if you actuate the measure tool from a custom toolbar, it doesn't
measure anything. Sigh....

even when you can use it, I find it to be a very frustrating tool.

I always find that it helps to have a little
patience (and to be on subscription) 😉

p.s - No you're not the only person who wants to
measure from a drawing!

Actually, I've gotten used to it, and like it for the most part. You
just have to 'seed' it with the type of element you want to querry.
I'm not in love with it, however. I can't figure out what they were
thinking when they designed that accumulate' function, nor does
measure do things like minimum distance between two arcs, etc.

Light years better than the measure tool in that 'other' SoftWare
package, though.
