Looking for feedback on Gibbscam

Just curious if any of you are using Gibbscam with Inventor, or any other
cad program. We are thinking about switching to this cam package. It seems
very powerful and easy to use. We had the rep program some of our parts
sight unseen, and he did it pretty efficiently. We were also impressed with
its verify capability to actually cut the material and show you how it was
going to do it.

Just looking for feedback on ease of use or problems, and if anyone has
dealt with customer support.

Thanks

Kevin

Kevin,

I use Gibbs extensively. Contact me off the list and I'll be glad to
share.

kevin,
I was going to mention before and forgot. You do get a
really good render output from Gibbs. I don't believe there
are plans to support more than 16 colors though. They save
their stuff for toolpath calcs.
I use it with the inventor add-inn, with acis files,
with dxf & dwg and some of their internal cad. Most of my
files end up being some mix or another. It's so fast to
program that I don't care much about associativity. And rock
solid.
