Linking values

How can we link a parameter from an .ipt into the value in excel sheet. The excel and Inventor part file should be linked viceversa. Concept is as follows :

1. Selecting a parameter, say A of .ipt.
2. Parameter A generates 3 values from the excel sheet. ( Based on paramter A excel makes a search and get 3 values
from family of values )
3. The values generated in excel sheet are linked to other parameters of .ipt named B, C, D.

Any suggestions ?

I found this video useful when learning how to link parameters from excel sheets, or other part files.

Not sure if anyone will be able to help..

You don't say what Inventor you are on and there are many ways but it also depends on your version of Inventor.
