Linking an 2007 Excel spread sheet to a Inventor 2009 part

I am trying to link a Excel spread sheet to an Inventor 2009 part.  It worked great on Friday now it is not working.  The only thing that changed was that there was a windos update.  When it does work I am unable to update any of the parametes that are linked to Excel file as the update button has dissapeard.  Am I doing something worng or did the update change something?

Regards,

Duncan H.

I tried to do the following but got the attached error message:  Did I miss something or do I have to get the system admin to do this?

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
Excel.Application
CLSID => {00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}

And the CLSID guid should be:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
CLSID
{00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}
LocalServer
(Default) => "File path to Excel executable" /automation
LocalServer32
(Default) => "File path to Excel executable" /automation
