What happens just before you get the error? Did you reboot? Did you
restore files from backup?

It means the hardware configuration has changed. Did you add or remove hard
disks? Do you have multiple OS's on this PC? Is it a laptop that runs
sometimes in a docking station, and sometimes not? Is this Inventor 7?

You will need to get a new auth code to fix this problem. But you must
still figure out the cause, or it will happen again.

It means "you are (profanity removed by moderator - Anne) and have to re-authorize
IV, but sometimes you can't because you are (profanity removed by moderator - Anne), and then you have to wait 2
days before you get the new code from Autodesk on the email".... thats what it
meant here anyway.....

For some reason IV7 lost it's serial no. during a
crash, after 2xreboot it gainted it again, but i could not authorize IV
automaticly, Autodesk said that my serial no. was invalid, therefore I had to do
it via E-mail, and that to them 2 days to figure out (after calling my VAR )...
That means 2 days uable to work in IV7.....

Yes my version is IS7
I will try to detect any hardware changes. The reseler told me that the daylight savings adjusment on my OS might caused the problem. I will check that out.

Thanks
