Isometric Dimensions

Hi,

We have been putting dimensions on isometric views and the dimensions have been coming out fine. Now, however, we have an isometric and the dimension is about 400mm out and is not on the plane/face it should be.

Any suggestions’ why this would be the case?

Thanks,

Dave.

Hello Dave welcome to the Discussion Group. :smileyhappy:

The issue you will have in trying to get an answer is this.

You don't say what version of Inventor you have or what version of Inventor it worked with.

You don't mention if you have service packs, hot fixes, or updates loaded.

You don't have a .jpg screen shot or a snipping of the issue. Or when it worked to compare.

So if you would provide this I am sure we can jump in and help but till then I don't think many can help..:smileyhappy:

Dave,

Welcome to the forum.

I will add a couple of more questions to the list that James provided (which are essential).

Is this the only drawing this is happening to?

What has changed between the times it was working and now?

Have you tried recreating this issue on a different machine?  to see if it can be duplicated?

Is it a drawing dimension or a retrieved dimension?

If prior to release 2013 is it True dimension or Projected dimension?
