Is Inventor Essencial for use AutoCAD 2013

Hello, I downloaded AutoCAD 2013 students version and it came with Inventor Fusion, that i Don't need to use. However when I unchecked the inventor it appeared a message saying that AutoCAD might not work well without it. Is it like that or can I remove Inventor Fusion?

Thank you

Interesting.

I can understand if you were using Inventor and you removed Inventor Fusion thus getting that error, but AutoCad?

I personally never really use AutoCad myself (I have employees that are way more talented in it than I am) but I still never knew that AutoCad even used Fusion....not like Inventor uses it.

Hi xmiguelmonteiro,

Fusion can be used for 3D work in AutoCAD. If you're doing just 2D work you shouldn't miss it. Have a look at this link:

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis
